On today’s episode, we discuss some major news like 2021 hotel room discounts and a little information about this year’s Festival of the Arts. Plus, we review our most recent stay at Copper Creek, as well as our room at Saratoga Springs.

  • Disneyland Reopening Guidelines
    • masks must be worn except when eating or drinking (okay not a problem)
    • park capacity is set at 25% (also not a problem)
    • reservations will be required (ok fine. Makes sense)
    • 25% capacity in restaurants (too low to make a profit I think?)
    • all queues must be outdoors (a lot already are so okay)
    • **the county the park currently resides in should be in the yellow tier, which means minimal spread (Disneyland/Orange County is in the red tier, which means the virus is classified as substantially widespread). They have two steps down to go. Purple is the worst tier and Orange is moderate spread
    • It looks like Disneyland won’t open until Summer 2021 at the very earliest with these guidelines

  • Early 2021 Room Discounts Have Been Released!
    • Annual Passholders receive up to 40% off for dates January 3 – April 17th
    • Florida Residents receive up to 35% off for dates January 3 – April 17th
    • Non- resident and non- APs receive up to 35% off for the same dates
    • Book through March 15th
    • Excludes the cabins, bungalows, and 3 bedroom villas
    • The Book with Confidence cancellation policy still stands until arrival April 30th, 2021 
  • Festival of the Arts Information Has been Announced – Disney Parks Blog
  • News Bites
    • All-Star Movies Resort is opening February 9th, 2021
    • Christmas Merchandise is starting to arrive at the parks, including 3 new holiday themed spirit jerseys
    • Florida residents can buy a WDW 50th anniversary license plate. Funds got to Make a Wish Foundation
    • Jungle Cruise and Millenium Falcon Smuggler’s Run may start utilizing a virtual queue system.
