Review
I was so excited to see this movie (seriously, I took a half day off work to go and see it) and it did not disappoint. This exciting sequel is packed with music, silliness, and even more adventure than the original. It’s definitely not the classic “Princess Movie” and has something everyone can enjoy.
While the overarching themes felt very familiar, Elsa and Anna have definitely evolved and take us on an exciting new journey when Elsa answers a far off calling. This story follows Elsa more than Anna, unlike the first, but we get a good dose of all the characters we know and love. There’s exploration into the family’s history, and we finally get some resolution to questions left unanswered from the original!
Overall, I think the audience will love who these sisters have become and the way they face the changes that fall upon their family and beloved Arendelle.
I loved the story from beginning to end, but I must say, I was happiest when Kristoff and Sven got the musical number they truly deserve!
Advice
Bring 1-2 tissues. This wasn’t a “Toy Story 3” level tear jerker, but I definitely got misty eyed.
There IS a post credit scene, but if you don’t stick around, you won’t be missing any critical information.
Most importantly, enjoy the Adventure!!
