Disney+ has now officially launched in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands, however, some are having some minor issues. From messages such as “Unable to connect to Disney+” to missing play buttons and screens, Disney+ has finally launched to much fanfare and some issues and controversy.
Most of these issues seem to have been straightened out, though, it is assumed some may still occur as the masses descend upon this new frontier of Disney streaming.
At the time of this writing, there is no report on how many subscribers have signed on already, however, market research done by HarrisX found the number of interested subscribers to be 21% in the US.
As for controversy surrounding the Disney+ launch, a twitter account called Star Wars Visual Comparisons found the Han and Greedo scene in Star Wars: A New Hope, has changed yet again in the version playing on Disney+.
Regardless of the launch day problems, social media is ablaze with people talking about what they are watching and will watch next. It appears Disney+ is a success and will become a staple in the streaming habits of many.
